I've begun to sprite a char, but I don't know if it's getting good. You, Pros, could see it and say if I get somewhere with it?

To better clarify, the number one rule of sprites is that they cannot be saved as a JPEG. Because obviously you are not getting this...

The way as the neck connects with the body and the head looks very weird. Also, why is he so rigid?
The walking pose makes him look like an egyptian painting.
