Game Specific Model Ripping Guides
I heard a rumor that you can hex-edit the raw 3D file (.RIP), and zero out the bone rots to T-Pose ripped models.
Not sure how much truth is behind it, and I can't find anything not t-posed to try on..

Right now I'm trying to get 3D Ripper DX to run with my computer to rip Melee models... Getting "Failed to initialize Direct3D" when loading. Any help?
To clarify: Dolphin runs fine. Launching it through 3D Ripper DX gets the error after selecting a game.

i know it’s possible to rip models from AC3 because i saw other ponies using this program and ripping models

out of curiosity is there a way to get files out of the cvm files located in the sonic riders zero gravity iso? trying to figure out how to rip the models properly. 3d ripper dx isn't working like I want it to. :C

You can try opening it with UltraISO or 7zip to browse the contents, ff that game does not use the encrypted CVM format.

There are a few BMS scripts that were posted on Xentax for extracting from this format. I can't access them since I don't have an account and Xentax requires you to pay for an account (but here's the link).

Another way of getting into the encrypted ISO (if it is encrypted) is take a save-state while in the game, and overwrite the encrypted ISO header with the decrypted header that will be present in the save-state.

in any event I happened to find some files for Sonic Free Riders. it's not the .eno files but it's the files it's stored in. That is if anyone knows anything about .srn.paST archives.

I think there should be a program that rips models but hard to rip like Crash Bandicoot TwOC I mean what could rip .hgo files.

They're actually fairly-simple containers, just deleting the first 32 bytes (I think that's what it was) should give you the ENO file, and the textures should be easily found as they have "DDS" before them.

Though I've actually manually extracted all the textures from it, so anything from that would be faster if acquired from my archives.

This program should work. I haven't tried with with ZG's archives, but it's worked for every other CVM I've come across.

3d xml printscreen script for blender and max failed on and i did have python installed on my computer.

This program should work. I haven't tried with with ZG's archives, but it's worked for every other CVM I've come across.

I newly found this thread and thats lucky, 'cause I'm new to ripping and I've learned some things here. Now, I have, as many others before me, a problem.
I was/am trying to ripp models from yugioh - falsebound kingdom, a game for gamecube, using dolphin as an emulator to extract the files.

It worked perfectly, but now I can't find any .brrs files in any of the folders. Instead I find out that the models I'm searching for is in a file called "MONSTER.MRG".
I've googled for a way to convert/extract .MRG files and found this site: http://ps23dformat.wikispaces.com/Yu-Gi-...+the+Roses

It's a guide about how to rip 3d monsters from another yugioh game.
It says that the 3d monsters in "Duelist of roses" is in a "MONSTERS.MRG" file, just like in Falsebound kingdom.
I downloaded quickbms and the scripts, ran quickbms, did what the site said but something didn't work, probably the rosesmonsterextract.bms script.

So I'm back to square one, do anyone know a way to convert/open/etc. .MRG files.

I also tried to use 3d Ripper DX together with Dolphin. All seemed to go fine, the "ready to capture" text were in the upper-left corner. I pressed the capture-button and the game froze, without starting again. And nothing had been captured either.
I also tried 3dvia printscreen, with no luck.

I read something about that Dolphin have to be a 32-bit version, but I don't understund that. Does it mean that my computer and 3d ripper Dx also have to be 32-bit? And how do I know what the softwares "bits" are?

@ miatpi it doesn't matter if you have a 64 bit computer you can run a 32 bit dolphin emulator, also to let you know, 3d rippers won't rip from dolphin versions 3.5 - 4.0 you have to use the dolphin versions 3.0 and below, go with the 3.0 revision instead.
What Rips am i doing next not sure?

GameCube games don't have BRRES files, it's strictly a Wii-only model format.

(Except for that time where I found them, unused in the XBox 360's Bubble Bobble Neo but that's another thing entirely.)
