I think that those branches should really be in the shadows a bit more.

But otherwise, it's looking fairly good so far. I especially love that swirl and the bottom of the tree.

i tink you need some roots in front of the trunk to break it up a bit, atm it looks too symmetrical

i'm not a fan of the leaves. i'm not sure the layer thing you've got going with the colors is working.

I have to leave it empty in front of the tree because something is going in front of it that isn't a part of the tree. It would look messy if I add more roots, but thanks for the real crits, I'll see what I can do about the leaves :-D

Only thing I could possibly suggest is mayhaps you should fill in some more leaves in the back as if there is another branch or two back there that we can't see?
