if you were like 3. If you were actually 3 years old this would be impressive.
10 years old, this maybe might make sense. Any older than that you should be ashamed.

Now enough bringing you down. First thing you must know is this is a .jpeg file. You want to be spriting the Pikachu? No .jpeg. BAD. .PNG yes.
Got it? Google tutorials on how to save images as .PNG's. This is very important.

Second of all, that's a blinking animation. Not an idle. GET THE DIFFERENCE.

3rd, I am guessing you got the colors from the reference. DONT DO THAT. that is bad. Make your own colors, or for now get some from real sprites. The lines are really jagged and it just looks like a 3 year old's interpretation of Pikachu.

But enough with the 3 year olds. You have lots to learn. I say keep at practicing and you might get somewhere.
