I'm gonna try to get a low-firmware phat so I can still have the otherOS option when I get one, then just use proxy updates or CFW from there so it doesn't get patched out

back on topic though, if you want stuff for wii, DONT buy VC ow Wiiware games

if you install the homebrew channel and a wad manager, you can easily download wiiware and VC games on your computer and transfer them to your wii for free.

I'd say the same for regular games as well, but the whole backup loader process is a bit more complicated, and I prefer physical copies of the actual games anyway

LOL where the HELL did you hear that from, me and every single person i know (and even people i don't) completely DESPISES the 360 controller. everybody who plays on a 360 controller then switches to a PS3 controller does 10x better in the game. the 360's dpad is almost impossible to pull off specials and combos with because it's small and badly-structured. unless you're playing with an analog stick? maybe. and even then, the ps3's analog stick is perfectly fine too-- or hell, just using an arcade fight pad instead of a bad controller. whatever.

and i'm not looking to play against 10 year old shit-talkers, button-mashers and move-spammers/ken players that cry when i whoop their ass, i'm looking for actual competition in the fighting scene, with people i can legitimately talk to about character structure and combos.

The D-Pad is fine for me on the 360, since I can stick my fingers in between the directions. It even feels like it is rotating.
But why would you use that?
It's such a downgrade from a Joystick.
Besides, swirling is the fastest method of specials and isn't a problem.
I barely hear of anyone using the D-pad for their fighters.
Especially fighters like SC and Virtua Fighter.

I find the 360 controller easier to maneuver.
Especially with the bigger buttons and indented D-axis.
And the shape fits to my hand a bit more than a PS controller.

And the internet is full of 10 year old shit talkers.

Button mashers and Skill Spammers?
That's extremely common.

But they're is more players with skill than those without.

If you want competition, then ask for it.

Go on Gamespot boards or something.
There's always a challenge or some sort of flamebait there.
