not quite, in humans there is a part of the brain that is larger or smaller depending upon gender. however in homosexuals the size is somewhere between large and small causing an attraction for the same gender. the size change for homosexuals is not enough to be transsexual though, were the part of the brain in a transsexual is completely the opposite.

curiously though there are records of this part of the brain changing size in a person's lifetime, but i'm not going into that discussion.
