Someone may have already posted this but in case they didn't, the season thing affects more than just the deer pokemon. Certain areas and possibly events can only be accessed during certain seasons, and it also seems that characters will change their clothing to fit the seasons. This is from Serebii btw.

I guess it was obvious that they would use the season thing for some cool stuff, but I'm impressed that they wend as far as to have clothing changes as well. I hope certain pokemon only appear during certain seasons. That would be kinda cool I guess.

Serebii also says that TMs do not disappear after use. Finally, we no longer have to worry about finding more! Now to hear if HM moves can be forgotten and not having them be deleted from the move deleter only.

Being able to forget HMs on the fly can accidentally strand you. What if you went to like, Sootopolis City, and got rid of your only 'Mon with Dive or Fly. While you can get out of such a situation (much easier now than in RBY), it's a pain. As such, the Move Deleters are located to you can fish for Surfing 'mon, or a mon that learns Cut or Fly so you can access other areas.
Specs 'n' Headphones has been revamped! Check it, yo.

You make a good point there.

Well seeing as HMs never go away, you can reteach ti fly or dive if needed.

Unless you never got the HM, and just got the Pokemon with the HM in a trade. Then if you make a Pokemon forget surf while you're on an island somewhere or something, you're stuck

but who is supid enough to do that? (sorry but I keep things that I'll need like fly and surf but all other tms I'd hardly need to use ever and it would be nice to get rid of them once I am through with them.)

They are probably doing this so you can't give the TMs as a holding item for trades. That way they can make new TMs for future generations without having to worry about transferring old ones around through trades... Hm... Or not.

In RBY I traded over a Charmander with Cut so I could do the Vermillion City scenario without having the ship leave (So I could try out the Mew/Truck thing) I eventually had to trade it back.

It's entirely possible. It's bad game design to not account for measures that are possible; people will try and break a game in many strange ways.

I wish HM's could be taught to Pokémon but not used in battle, and not take up one of their attack slots.
Or even better. They could be used without having to teach them to a Pokémon at all.
I know it kinda ruins the concept, but really you only get 5 Pokémon and a HM slave as it is at the moment.
this is a sig
