What is that supposed to be? A L4D zombie of some sort?
It looks good though. I can't wait 'til I get around to making mobs.

Doesn't that look beautiful? Minecraft looks nice with 64x64 textures, it uses a LOT more cpu though.

Eh, I like Eld's texture pack. It's really good pixel art.
Frenden's pack is also nicely done. I also tried Minuscraft (an 8x8 texture pack), but I didn't like his choice of colors. I love how Betterlight greatly improves the game's look while hardly impacting my FPS, though.

For pretty much the same reason that you don't sprite at those sizes.
It's impossible to make anything stand out at all with a size less than 4x4. And 4x4 isn't much easier. 8x8 is where it starts getting manageable, 16x16 is the most common tile size, and moving from there is just easy mode, as far as conveying details goes. It has high HP, so the best way to kill it is to whack it with a painting, which gives you a special painting. Although, that last part has to e implemented first. Also, I'm currently working on something else, seeing as Ring shit ghost is far from done (I also need to add a new WorldGen, which places haunted houses randomly on the world, with a high rarity, which is where this mob will mainly spawn). I'll post more on that later perhaps, but here's a screenshot for you guys: I also installed McRegion and Optimine. They make things run a little bit more smoothly. This means that I can do crazy shit now with my mod. EDIT: Bet you didn't see that coming. EDIT2: The third mob of the same pack. EDIT3: Time for a friendly NPC here: Thanked by: Kitsu, Rosencrantz

I'm actually glad you didn't look at the tags first.
Anyway, here's a pic (might get updated some time though, so don't WTF if the image suddenly changed): Anyway, all friendly and neutral NPCs will have their own menus, which will not pause the time, so time is still important. Each one of them will have special abilities. All friendly NPCs will follow you if you tell them to do so once their trust level is high enough. You'll be able to place signs where they may set up their own base, by placing a sign with only their name on it on the ground in one line, and in the next line the area radius they can set up their base. They'll try to place a bed somewhere or something, it could also be a sleeping bag. This will be their new spawn point when they die, and from that point on they will never despawn. When they're low on health, they'll go to their sleeping bag. Velma Dinkley won't trust you very easily, so you'll need to give her more items than others. She can be given books and tools. Tools will raise her tools level, which will allow her to break up craftable stuff more efficiently. She will also drop random craftable items, however, she doesn't drop them often, only a few times each in-game day, depending on her tools level. Books will raise her research level, which in turn results in better loot dropped. When you place a chest in her base, you will randomly find items in there also. Daphne will require diamonds to raise her trust level of you. She will also require ink sacs and hides to raise her transformation level. Once fully leveled, she will transform into Crush when there's danger near, or when certain other NPCs are near. Fred is the easiest to convince. Just give him some strings and he's happy. Fred is able to build traps when given the blocks. He can place cactus on sand to make a cactus wall (while still following the Minecraft rules). When given Netherrack and flint and steel, he's able to make firewalls. Those are just a few examples. Just place a sign with the word TRAP:<length> in one line, and (optionally) what kind of trap you'd want, and the orientation will decide in what direction it's building. He is also able to ensnare unfriendly mobs, so that they will have to stay within a certain radius of him. However, do know that they will attack Fred, since it will count as an attack. Scooby and Shaggy are special, in that they'll always stick together, and always share the same trust level, so you'd only have to convince one of two to join you. You can mostly bribe them with food, which is also required to make them fight mobs. Their courage level rises with food, and Scooby snacks will raise their courage to the maximum. The higher their courage level, the more courage they have, and the less likely their courage will drop below the coward-point. Scooby snacks are craftable, or you can just ask the rest of Mystery Incorporated. For the neutral NPCs, they mostly give you missions or tasks or something so you can earn Ghoul Points. These Ghoul Points can then be used to buy items and blocks from Vincent Van Ghoul. You can also sell your own items and blocks, but to know that Vincent Van Ghoul is a cheapskate. Sometimes, though, you'll find a neutral mob that will eventually convert to friendly. Thanked by: Kitsu, StarSock64, Gwen,
