Thats what I was getting at, but a little somewhere different among the lines. Mozzy And xTYVONx were explaining to Plasma Trooper on what to do, Then Plasma Trooper gives an exuse where eventually, she starts ranting pointlessy saying that Mozzy and xTYVONx were being mean to her, Then Lunyka agrees with Plasma Trooper anwd gets them banned for absoulutly no reason.

You know full well that's not what I'm saying. Gving negative rep is perfectly fine.

Giving negative rep for the sole reason of being mean, or because you have some petty vendetta against someone is not fine.

Yes well it's going to be hard to stop that seeing how it's the people's voice. Saying, "stop the abuse" is not going to do anything, and giving warns for it might cause a commotion.

And really we're just extending the 'no flaming' rule to repping as well. You might as well say we shouldn't warn posts for flaming because "it's the people's voice."

As far as I know, TSR is pretty strict upon there rules, as far as the other forums I have seen.

I apologize for bumping this thread but I think that the rep system shouldn't be deleted-at least we should have a comment system so a person could have conversations with each other. Like what Flare said: I mostly use the rep system as a publicly viewable PM system. I think we should replace the rep system with just a comment system to avoid the "I'm -ve voting you because I'm cool" and the "negative because I'm an ass!" because it just starts to lead to people -ve voting you saying "I want to fit in XD" and "You must be a big loser having all of these negatives"

Anyway the rep system has been changed so no one can no longer abuse it for now. If people get around this loophole punishment will happen.

It has been changed to say that if you just say Hi to them or something of that sort it will not let you put the rep down.

Also people can get things to say sir and stuff in other places but they spell it differently and such to make it work. I'm assuming there is a way to get through it but if it is tested then you will be punished.
