Special Update
After a lot of work, I was able to create a wing for my Para-Troopa model. So, what do you guys think?
It actually looks really nice. Is it not textured yet, or are those the final colors ?
In any case, you should try to find a really nice wing texture, mostly to compensate the back of the wing being totally flat.

That's really looking great. I love how you sculpted the front!

Why thank you, Lexou. That is the final color of the wing. However, I don't even know what kind of texture the back of the wing should have since there isn't one on the actual Koopa model. Ultimently, I think that this is the final product.

Thank you, Zerox! Admittedly, I had a lot of trouble sculpting the front of the wing, but based on your reaction, I guess nothing is wrong with it.
Let me just suggest making it look more rugged and more white.
It you put that on a koopa in it's current state, it'll look like he has gray porcelain wings.
Also, no offense man, I'm just pointing out flaws, here.

Meh, I was just going to let the lighting take care of the dark wing problem, but since you insisted, I decided to fix your problem by changing the Ambient Color.
As for the back of the wings, I didn't put any textures on them because I didn't see any in this picture.
However, seeing how you think a back tecture would look better, I decided to stray a bit from the offical plans and create a texture.
Here are the new renders.

Well, I had to resize the wings a bit and apply some new textures to the Koopa, but it looks like my Para-Troopa is ready!
Tell me what you guys think, so I can get a ZIP file ready.

You mean the Blue Shell, right? Well, I'm way ahead of you on that one, Valfor, because I decided to create one for a model of the fan character, Crazy Koopa. I'm not entirely sure about the status of fan characters on this forum, so I'm just going to link the images instead of just embedding them as a precaution.

Well, seeing that nobody else has replied to this topic, I might as well post the ZIP file now since everything seems to be OK.

Originally, I was going to put my Crazy Koopa model in there as an added bonus, but I thought better of it. Besides, I'm going to give users a way to download the model on another web site!
Before I forget, here's the icon.

So, does that mean that you're going to put it on the main site now?

Gosh... How long has it been since I did any modeling work? About a year or so? Well, I'll have you guys know that I was still lurking around on the forums of this site viewing a few topics and such; however, lots of things I needed to do on Deviant ART (as well as the fear that I might say something that would get an admin upset on this site) prevented me from actually doing anything else.
Anyway, I decided to brush off the dust on this old thread (since it's a thread I created, I don't think it would be too much of a problem) and decided to show you a recent project or two.
First of all, here's Cheato from Banjo-Kazooie!
Just tell me if there's anything I need to change and I'll hop to it!
Secondly, I wold like to show you guys something I made in Maya last Christmas. I'm not planning on submitting it, but it's just a nice little scene for you to see.
