I thought it was Community Porn xD
The game looks like a Zelda clone, but it is technically an RPG due to his level up-system. You also have three Poms and each of them can wear different headgear & utilities for attacks and defending. Running and jumping is far more easier than in Zelda, instead of equipping items you just hit buttons. There is also a fire skill book right at the beginning, if you equip it and load your staff, you can shoot flames which kills all starter enemies with one hit (even the first boss). By the way, I've updated Preluda from Brave Prove (PSX) with more portraits and deleted the other enemies. This game uses tons of recolours, I will post each family on a single sheet when I'm through. Thanked by: Garamonde

Yeah, it's just a mistranslation.

Azure Dreams (PSX):
http://img541.imageshack.us/img541/4681/trolls.png WIPs: Selfi (I guess this is also a mistranslated "Selphie") & Gosh/Ghosh: http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/9935/selfi.png Can't submit it until I get a savefile when you're with Selfi in the same room in the monster tower. A piece of her head is missing and I'm not sure if the RAM has overwritten something. Misc. stuff: http://img845.imageshack.us/img845/1897/miscstuff.png Don't have the rom on my harddisk anymore, maybe later sometime.

Wow... Well, this was a great update from you since I last checked! LOOOOOADS of stuff!
I happened to accidentally delete that Dragon Quest Monsters 1 & 2 (PSX) mansion sheet tough - could you reupload that for me? The actual sheet... Thanks man. There's a steel train coming through, I would take it if I could, and I would not lie to you because, Sunday morning soon will come. Thanked by: Garamonde

Legend of Mana (PSX):
http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/7642/manatree.png If you know how to rip from this game, it's very easy.

Nice one

Ripping from that game is extremely easy- the nightmare is sorting and assembling the sprites themselves.
06-02-2011, 02:17 PM
Sorting? They are in perfect order, you assemble them from the left to the right and from above to below. You just need a grid function in your graphic program (16x16 pixel)
Expect "The Bronze Auditorium" next, it's a room in the palace of Geo where you meet Sotherbee a 2nd time.

Sorting the characters's bodies with the different arms and weapons set looked quite nightmarish when I opened the savestates, I mean.
Other sprites are easier to extract, but the more mobile parts they have, the more annoying they get. |
