Hello!, my name is Kevin R. Smith and i am creating the story of raging wars and epic battles, of course i am making a game of it, thes thread is for this project if eneyone would like to help with sprites then please post some below, if you look at the website you can know more, of course you dont have to!, lol because i will be mostly explaining it on here because i am not posting the url in this or any other thread!!. I need some spriting help, in the style i have above:

Grass Tilesets
Trees, Rocks, Buidlings, Etc.
RPG characters
Battle backgrounds - Battle characters
Interfaces

The characters are on my photobucket page!!, really hoping somebody can join in and help me out with this awesome project.

The lines are EXTREMELY jagged and uneven (especially on the rafael pic). make sure that your lines are consistent throughout.

initially misread this as 'lords of thunder project' was happy. not happy.


2 things.

Like innocence, the stupid Baka Gaijin kabuki mono said, your lines are jagged an uneven. Your characters heads aren't shaped like actual heads, but like half eggs which is kind of weird. The buildings have no depth, or detail. The gate is actually kind of alright, but it needs a little more contrast.

really turned me off from doing so, so I'll just go ahead and tell you that you REALLY shouldn't be acting like your game is going to be awesome when there's a 100% chance it'll never get done

Ok, a few things:

I'll tell you right now that these aren't very good. Aside from Photobucket shrinking a few of your images; you've taken no account of proportion or cleanliness to your outlines, or overall art style. Everyone looks strangely bulbous and irregular; making it kind of telling that you've not had much formal drawing practice.
Which is fine, everyone has to start somewhere - but you don't start with large art projects off the bat.

Secondly, what you're doing right now is making a Request. Now, requesting when you've just signed up to the forum is a BIIIIG no-no. We have a board dedicated to requests; and is says quite clearly that members under 20 Posts may not request.

So what I'm going to do (and suggest to you) is this: I'm going to lock this thread, since it presently breaks the rules. I suggest that you browse the forum some, get to know how everything works, maybe post your work to be critiqued; and when you have a decent number of posts and people have gotten to know you; THEN you can request for people to help you with whatever.
