All I saw were some QTEs and a few bits of actual gameplay

hoping that capcom provides more gameplay footage for this

also, the developers also made the .hack series for the PS2, interesting

No, seriously, you do have a good point there, but I have a feeling I'd like this game a lot for the same reasons I like things like Berserk and Ninja Gaiden: Super-ultraviolence, retarded action and nonsense physical impossibilities. Sometimes I have no need for any class in a game.

i don't get why everyone's saying 'gameplay please,' there were several segments a few seconds long that were pretty clearly actual gameplay (and the fact that people can't even tell is probably a good thing (because it would imply that the gameplay is so awesome it looked like the cutscene parts))

also @dazz, what do you mean "like every other strong main character game," have you ever really seen anything as so joyfully flat-out ridiculous (and pretty obviously doing it on purpose, to great effect) as this
i seriously can't think of anything to compare this to
