I didn't seem to find this anywhere else in the topic, though with 18 pages I could have missed it... anyway, I was wondering if there's any way other than Animget to rip sprites from PSP games? While Animget does capture every single frame of animation (which is awesome), it also captures all the lighting, motion, and "super move" effects that show up on top of the sprites I'm trying to rip, so I end up having to do a lot of editing just to get the base itself back in shape.
I'd suggest PMing Random Talking Bush about it - he's done it before.

I'd like to ask again, anybody know of any way to rip MAME sprites that are not NeoGeo or Capcom? Or at least an emu that has layer control.

However, in MAME, there is a tile viewer by pressing F4

Short question: Is it possible to change the RAM-file of a Playstation-ROM (which you normally use with PSX-VRAM for ripping) back into a savefile? My emulator doesn't want to load these files.
I want to rip a boss again with Animget, because the developers' arrangement is a bit messy:

Too much parts and too difficult for usage =/

If you're having a problem loading the decompressed savestate, don't delete the original one. Move the decompressed one out of the folder and just remove the .gz of the original.
Doofenshmirtz: This is a little bit awkward but have you seen my escape jet keys? (Perry nods) What, you have? Well that's great! So where are they? (Perry looks away) You won't tell me? Is this because you don't speak or are you just being a jerk?

That is my problem, I don't have anything but the decompressed savefile (RAM).
If I start a replay, is it possible to cheat with the epsxe-emulator?

Hello.
I'm deeply sorry if this question has been already asked, but... anyway.
I'm trying to rip some things from the NDS game Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion. I managed to decompress .bin files from the game using a certain tool and now I've got NARC files. I can open those NARC files with NARCExplorer and extract what's inside. I'm pretty positive those are graphic files. So, inside those NARC files are four other files. These are their extensions:
.nanr
.ncbr
.ncer
.nclr
Now what do I do with them? From what I know one of them is a "map file" that can set the tiles right while viewing in a correct tile viewer, while another one is a pallete, another one for animation and another one is the image in question..
The question is, what tile viewer should I use to make something good out of those four files? I tried cristaltile2(i think that's it's name) but it doesn't seem to recognize .ncer files or I'm doing something wrong.
Please, can someone help me?
Oh, and exuse me if I'm missing something obvious here. I'm kinda new to this ripping thing.
Thanks in advance.

Try to use Tahaxan.. here.
Mind telling me how you decompressed the .bin files? it'd make my current project easier.

I used this tool. Made by a guy named Barubary.
I will check out Tahaxan, but isn't it just for opening whole roms? Can it open just those files for me? Anyway, brb, checking it out.
!EDIT!
Nope. It will not open just those files. And opening whole rom is pointless because the files are compressed as .bins and Tahaxan will not read that.
Help?

Wait, how do you get it to decompress? Whenever I ran/run it it just copies the file to the output folder.
