Figured I'd delete the old request topic since newcomers can't post there if need be, and put the question here.
This is about the Scott Pilgrim Game for XBOX360
Well, I've gotten around to extracting the data from my 360 and hopefully we can work something out here. I need someone experienced in coding and scripting to help me find a way to extract the data held within the internal files here. I'm pretty sure these dump out either into .DAT files which will in turn dump out into PNGs, or just into a mess of DAT files and PNG files at the same time.
Here is a link with the game data files:
Scott Pilgrim Game Data
And here's the Xentax topic where we've sort of developed a script to dump files but it errors.
Scott Pilgrim Xentax Topic
Hopefully we can work this out and some certain 360 games will be easier to rip from. In my research this compression method has popped up before in some other games (Can't remember which though) and I was hoping we could help out the whole community with this!

I've made a post in the Xentax forum about this, I hope what i've provided could help.

Well, it's an interesting find, but I've run the files through filestripper with no results, and we're back to square one. If we can get on of the guys here like Barubary or someone on it, I think they'll have more of an idea what they're doing. Eh heh...It's a good find though and I thank you for the effort!

Anytime, at least I tried
Like you said, if we can get someone on it, they might have an idea of what they're doing.

Would you care to PM him, or should I? I figure it'd be better if someone who has slightly a better idea of what's going on talk to the other one who may be a genius, rather than me, the one who has no idea how to work this.

What kind of program would one use to rip sprites from a PSX game? In particularly a game that uses a 3-D enviroment but 2-D sprites (like Phantom Brave).

Has anyone here ever ripped a DSi ware game for sprites? I googled it with no avail. If so....
How did you do it and can you explain?
or....
If not does anybody know how?
or....
Does anyone know of a tutorial/program that can help me?

Try giving PSicture or TIMviewer a try, it might get you somewhere.

I am working on ripping digimon card battle ver.wsc for the wonderswan but everytime I take a screen shot in oswan in freezes up. are there any tool for ripping wonderswan color games because tile molester does not work
Is there a way to load up arcade games on kawaks that aren't on the list of games when you click "load game?" Based on what I have read it looks like kawaks can only run Capcom NeoGeo/CPS1/CPS2 games, but I haven't extensively read on it. If it can't run games other than Capcom, is there another way of ripping from Arcade games?

Yeah, it's called MAME.
Doofenshmirtz: This is a little bit awkward but have you seen my escape jet keys? (Perry nods) What, you have? Well that's great! So where are they? (Perry looks away) You won't tell me? Is this because you don't speak or are you just being a jerk?

This is the first time I'm using YY-CHR, but I have a problem with the size:
Why are the sprites so big? Can I get them back to normal size?

You have to press F9 or select Take Snapshot from the File Menu that makes a bmp file of your sprites in the same folder as yy-chr, you can't copy and paste from yy-chr without resizing it yourself.
