I think the typing for an armadillo line should be something like Ground to Ground/Steel

also i'd totally help out more if i had my pen tablet

If I could...

The starters
Grass-an onion bulb, it blossems into a kangeroo for evolution, and becomes a kickboxing 'roo with Onion bulbs for 'Fists, Grass, Grass, Grass/Fighting.
Fire-a small tiger with a jewl on it's forhead, it then evolves into a tiger with to Fangs and a bigger jewl, and fire on it's elbows, then it becomes a big sabre toothed tiger with a firey mane, jewl on tail, and jewled horn. Fire, Fire, Fire/Rock.
Water-a small flying fish with fins like Red sprite's seadra, becomes an eel with bigger wings, and a small beak, finally becomes a long serpent with wings, a lugia-esque head, and a whip like tail. Water, Water, Water/Flying.

It has 2 triangles, Fire>Grass>Water> and Fight>Rock>Flying>

also a sheep with a ghostly like wool, and a small sheild for a face, Ghost/Steel, evolves into a Ram with large horns, a bigger sheild-face, hooves, and a middle stick out of it's head, to beat between the 2 horns like an alarm clock, Ghost/Steel as well (based on counting sheep to sleep, and waking up)

Well why would an onion become a kangaroo? You gotta think these things out.

Anyway if I may finally make a suggestion, I'd like to see the starter be a Ram from the Chinese Zodiac. It would start as a little hornless baby goat and finally become a Ram with big flaming horns. The design could also borrow from Satan himself often looking goat-like. Yeah a big flaming devil Goat.

Any secondary type? I did like Sengir's reverse type-cycle idea. I mean, ram's are related to sheep, sheep are associated with electricity.

why does a clam become an eel?
a mask to a sarcouphagus?
an Acorn to a spirit?

you can't see it on my examples but the onion petals surround the tail of the 1st stage kangeroo, as in it blossems like a flower and inside is that.

I have no idea which one you are talking about here. Oh, Clampearl. Well he and his evos suck. Sometimes I feel like they were drunk of their asses for Generation 3, Gen 4 was a hangover, and Gen 5 somebody slapped them back into sobriety. Also, I bet it was just so they could make a quirky Anime episode where everyone argues about which evolution is better.

a mask to a sarcouphagus?
A burial mask upgraded to a grand sarcophagus.

an Acorn to a spirit?
Are you talking about Snorunt's line? They are all based on Japanese spirits.

I think a Fairy Armadillo would be a cool addition if fairy wings were placed on it like was already mentioned. This would make a new pokemon of its kind while still not being exactly like the others(It would be Ground/Flying as opposed to Ground, Ground/Rock, or Ground/steel)

That might be a bit of a stretch. Besides not all fairies fly. Look at Clefairy. Just because its a cute pink fairy armadillo doesn't mean it needs to fly.

acorn-seedot,

mabye the 'dexes' will shed light on what I mean,

onion-It often slams into others in it's groups. If a piece of skin breaks off, a stinging aroama fills the area, and a brown and green under skin can be seen.

Kangr-onion-It can launch kicks with destrctive power, and will distract it's foes with an eye-stinging aroma from near it's tail.

Boxeroo-When it's fists make contact they burn the oppenent's eyes, they also can bloom open to shoot an acid-like liqued.

so it's like cocoon-joey-kiboxing kangeroo. And the leaf on the final form covers 1 eye like a patch.

Shiftry may be a Tengu but he's also a tree. An acorn becoming a tree makes sense but there is no connection for onions and kangaroos. But I'll admit I don't understand Clamperl's evolution.

Besides I think people are in favor for a Triceratops. Right? Didn't I hear someone suggest that?

a stegosuarus makes more sense doesn't it? What with it's solar panels and all.

You know, I actually like that. Bastidon or whatever felt like a KINDA triceratops without the three horns anyway.

I think a good beta idea is this

Basic-a small quad-green dinosuar like creature, with a single grean leaf plate and a small nub on the tail (the spike)
1st-Slightly larger, 2 rows of plates, 4 each, and 2 spikes on the tail (the spikes look like wood btw)
2nd-Large Heavy, 2 rows of plates, 6 each, 4 spikes on tail, and moss on the back around the leaf spines.

Permission to create concept sketches for this?

If yes, I'll have 2 ways the line could go, quad and bi-ped.

Stegasaur eh? Let's see what the others think...

*sigh* Are there any others?

Pterodactyl with leaf wings maybe?

Although it doesnt go with the reverse typing idea though :/ But Fire/Electric Water/Bug Grass/Rock wouldnt really work, since the grass starter would still have the advantage over the water
