Ah I misinterpreted it. Apparently, someone associated your design a pistol shrimp in a later so I thought that's what you were making.

The pistol shrimp can create temperatures up to 4,700 °C with it's claw. That's nearly the surface of the sun!

Ahem anyway, sorry for the confusion.

No problem, like I said, I could take a shot (no pun intended) at making an alternate evolution. Pistol shrimp could be faster with high attack but low HP and defenses while the rock covered Vent crab would be the other way around.

Both evolutions would be equally fitting for the theme, and type combo, not to mention the fact that there aren't really enough split evo lines.

This is true. The pistol shrimp excels in Speed and Special Attack, while the crab could be Defense and Attack. I look forward to seeing it.

Anyway I wanted to redesign the Mosquito larva:

Still need work. I wanted it to point his tail upwards because they hang upside down from them.

Oh and here's a concept for the third form. Male and Female.

This one REALLY needs work but its an idea.

The final Mosquito idea somewhat reminds me of Beedrill, as posture, and where the arms/limbs comeout.... (thats just me though)

what does its "caccon" state look like in real life?

and apperently, a larva mosquito is called a "wriggler"

...dang...I don't know what to say, except for, how should we incorporate that into a pokemon?

maybe give it's "tail" a stinger, or something that acts like the mosquito's "nose" as to where it could suck blood (female only).

But yeah, I wanted to make them look completely different to make sure the player knows that they will have VERY different stats, and because I like the idea of one pokemon being able to turn into one of two very different forms.

Guys, for the pumpkin pokemon, I was thinking 2 stages, one being a normal jack-o-lantern, the other one being a scarecrow with a jack-o-lantern head. Ghost/Grass. Any ideas/objections?

I like the idea of it being ghost/grass instead of fire/grass. Fire/grass could be based off of forest fires or tikis or something.

Should it be three stages and be Seed --> Jack-o-lantern ---> Scarecrow jack-o-lantern though? Or just two staged?

Maybe a cluster of seeds or something, one being the main body, the rest just being there, like Cherubi's little berry thing.

Wow that's really nice however the pistol shrimp now looks way cooler than the crab. To be fair you should tone down the shrimp or touch up the crab to make them equal.
