He turns into different things, and makes....Yarn-Dreamland...? The best place ever. If you can't tell though, there's a two player mechanic or at the very least a partner mechanic. As far as I know partner mechanics in Kirby, infer 2 player power. I guess were still playing with power. Hah, I'm such a stitch.

wow jesus christ i wanna punch some people on this thread
As a huge Kirby fan, Kirby's Air Ride was fucking fantastic. It's not just "a Mario Kart like game". It doesn't play or feels anything like Mario Kart, and half of the whole focus of the game wasn't even about racing. The City Trial was, in a way, the main mode, because it is where you'll spend most of your time clearing stuff from the checklist and unlocking new stuff too. 1/4 of all kirby games didn't have anything about copy abilities and they kicked ass. Kirby wasn't ever strictly about copying abilities, it was about bringing in new twists and new sorts of gameplays that you can do with a puffball (see: Canvas Curse). Copying, in most cases, was just an ability that was part of it, never the main focus. Also, that's why one of the least enjoyable games in the Kirby series is Kirby Squeak Squad, because the gameplay just didn't add any new twists to it like other games did. I don't think it was crappy it just wasn't special. It was your average Kirby DS game and I'm cool with that.

Squeak Squad was completely uninspired and by the numbers. I'm glad they're not continuing the series in the direction they were going with that game and are doing something interesting instead

squeak squad was a extremely baby game. it did added a twist though, making a terrible excuse of game with kirby on it where kirby sucks major balls.
