If you can stomach it, the best thing for that is to look at autopsy photos. Also biological drawings, stuff from medical dictionaries etc can be helpful for getting placement - but for actual gore, autopsy photos.

Personally I really need to work on MACHINES and PLACES and VARIED BODY TYPES.
Especially machines and places, because lol what is perspective???

woahwoah ive got many...

1. Top viewed poeople. HOW LONG IS A NOSE AND DO EYES SHOW
2. Bottom viewed people. HOW LONG IS A CHIN
3. Proportions. I draw heads too big, which makes my characters all look like teenagers. + much more (doors < buildings ; people < windows ...)
4. Textures. Shading is everything for this, and im lacking it.
5. Pretty, unique and different adult women.
6. Ugly, yet feminine women.
7. Rocks. Especially rock walls, think grand canyon facade.
8. Everything that my (if you can call it a) style cannot be applied to.

I've got quite a few more, but they're less big and reoccurent.


BTW, I don't think three counts as much of a list.

The more I think about it, the less I like the idea of identifying specific objects or situations that you can't draw. It's better to think in terms of principles.

I'm not picking on you specifically, Lexou, but using your post as an example, these:

Are essentially the same problem, and would be fixed by practicing the same things; that is, establishing the head as a 3D form and really focusing on how you place the features on it. The same really applies to the whole body; break things down into simple shapes and then worry about detail only once you've got the construction as tight as possible. Once you understand the body as a series of simpler shapes, it takes a lot of the pain out of perspective and foreshortening
It still takes a lot of practice (I STILL SUCK AT THIS A WHOLE LOT), but it gives you a stronger foundation to work on c:

Go to a coffee shop or a cafe or something and do caricatures and sketches and whatever else based on people around you. It's... morally questionable to draw people without their permission, but basically every artist ever does this. Again, look for basic shapes in people's bodies and faces.
If you don't feel brave enough to draw strangers, then draw friends and relatives and teachers and anyone else you're willing to ask! You'll start noticing all kinds of variations with people eventually, and applying them to your own drawings~

Women - my women look like men with pouty lips, lara croft boobs, and size 3 waists

Vehicles - cars, trucks, bicycles. i like drawing fictional transport better

Legs - oh god legs. i have LIEFELDOSIS :C

I figured, but, even if i draw the MOST PERSPECTIVELY LOGIC, it's still not attractive enough to me, and I don't know how to make it attractive.

I do make caricatures/portraits, but trying to fit them into (what I call) my style, which is a rather simple one, is pretty hard, because I need to make their main traits REALLY come out, but it's really hard identifying what are a person's main traits by watching their face, at least, for me.
Then again, it's maybe just an experience issue. If you've got any ways/tricks for finding these, I would LOVE to hear them.

you know, some women on there really look like men (buuya is awesome I know but still). Take the second one, for example. If you shaved her hair (you should know) and whitened her lips she seriously be a dude. And you know, I noticed, that's because of the eyebrows. Thin eyebrows really change someone's face despite it being a quite unnoticed feature, kinda like eye pupils, which can change expressions pretty damn well.

Most women would look pretty butch if you paled up their lips and shaved their heads, though! The idea that certain traits are inherently male while others are inherently female is a bit silly. It's the collection of those traits that suggest masculinity or femininity~
Also this is a conversation I'm not sure I want to get into too heavily, because it gets dangerously close to the idea of "such and such is for REAL WOMEN" or "such and such is for REAL MEN" which is ooky.

It's actually pretty fun to mess around with that - using traditionally masculine traits on a female character and still getting the character to read as female
or using traditionally feminine traits on a male character and still getting the character to read as male.

Also yeah, she(?) draws necks pretty long, but it's knowingly so, so s'cool.

Oh, I missed that!

Simpler styles aren't really my thing, I'm not too good at them myself, but the best advice I can give you is first to try not to think too much about style, and second try to work fast and cut things down to the bare minimum amount of detail (at least when you're working from life).
Try and find the best "shortcuts" for you and try to apply them to your more stylised drawings- how do you show differently shaped noses without making them pseudo-realistic? How do you show age without doing the same? How do you keep a simple style without your characters looking samey? That's when you can start thinking a bit more about style and looking at how other artists do things c:
Also try and simplify people into shapes, as I've said before. But not just for the sake of perspective; look at relative distances between people's features, as well as the general shapes of their face. Say, Woody Harrelson:

Has a long face with a strong jaw and a particularly long forhead
you could pretty well simplify his face shape into a rectangle and just round off a couple of the corners, and you'd have a pretty good idea of his face shape.

While you're practicing, it might be a good idea to draw from photos of celebrities actually; it's not really *as* good for you to draw from photos, but it's easier to draw from celebrities because then when you show other people they'll be better equipped to tell you if you got a good likeness, if it's someone they recognise.

One thing that's hard to explain: try not to fixate too much on accuracy and try to get an "idea" of how someone looks. Draw fairly quickly, compare to the photo, notice where you went wrong, then redraw it again, trying to be quick. If you fixate too much on accuracy and sloooowly getting a likeness then your caricatures will start to lack energy.

If I make a mistake, the eraser marks get fugly and then I pretty much lose all motivation to draw on paper ;,(

That said, I can't do anything that would be considered realistic or possessing proper anatomy. I also can't draw hands or eyes for the life of me.
