Yeah, I see where you're going. If Soma IS Dracula, then why must you fight him in either Dawn or Aria?
Must be confusion, or a case of right hand man paradox. Thus causing him not to care anymore.

That's probably it. Say, BBM3. I know you're not into ripping CV any more, but I was wondering if sometime in the future I could have help ripping the maps from the DS vanias. :X Even though now resizing is needed on no$gba, it's still pretty tiring trying to line up each screen with each other without the background throwing me off a pixel or two.
God is good.

Well I'm not exactly ditching cv now, I just feel I should get some variety. Besides, I've WANTED to rip the stages from the ds games for some time now, but I just can't figure out the no$gba. Maybe once there's a simpler ds emulator in the future.

Yeah, even though the latest version of no cash removes the unusual dot pattern on the screen it still doesn't support save states or save games. You can input cheats to help you get to areas you couldn't normally, but... it becomes tedious after a while. :/
As you can see I've tried already. :p

Bone Ark
Chronomage Pillar & Cannon
Final Guard
Gaibon
Game Over Screen
Guillotiner
Haunted Portrait
Soul Set B
That makes all of the souls and such. On another note: I can now get ahold of the 256 color images in the game as well as evidenced by the Game Over Screen and Haunted Portrait sheets.
Vincent Dorin
Wind
Finally decided on doing some Portrait as well alongside Dawn. I have to say: W-T-F (pardon my abbreviations) Vincent, for a non-playable character, sure has a ton of sprites. O_O
The guys at Konami must've really liked this guy.

Well, it's not finished. I can also teach anyone how to do this if they pm me. I can send them an archive full of the palette strings that were once embedded within the roms.
Also, I have found I'm having a lot of trouble with brauner as I can't seem to find the correct palette for his "paint" strokes and they aren't in the same palette string, which is very annoying.
In retrospect, I found the things he summons, however.

I finished ripping Brauner's room: the Portrait Studio. It was difficult to say the least. Only one room in this whole area so I didn't need to include anything else. Why was this difficult? Well, none of the tiles repeat for one (save for the gray brick things lining the room). <<;
So erasing the life meter proved nearly impossible, coupled with the fact that you can't explore this room prior to or concluding the fight. ><
