Sonic Battle Project

i was a bit afraid of posting this thread. but i decided to just do it.

so yeah... this project is for the character's that need done. (there's more then you whould think.) there's a huge collection of character's needed to be done.

List:
Dr. Eggman (something other than his "pod" thing)
Blaze the cat
Silver the hedgehog (already done? IDK)
Bean the dynamite duck(Sheet on TSR is incomplete) (have a base)
Espio the chameleon (sheet on TSR is incomplete)
Vector the crocodile (MFZ have one?)
Jet the Hawk
Storm the albatross
Darkspine sonic (currently working on)
Bomb (currently working on)
Heavy
Tails Doll
Nack the weasle (or fang the sniper. is there a difference?)
Emerl (basicly the main character in the game and he does'nt have a sheet...)
Mephiles the dark (not required)
Big the cat (yes i went there) (not required)
Metal Knuckles (not required)
Maria Robotnik (not required)
Marine the raccoon (Not required)
Chao (not required)
E-101 (not required)
E-103 (not required)
E-104 (not required)

if i missed any then say so.

my current progress:






the hand's and feet are not mine if you did not notice. thay are from the sonic and shadow sprites found here on TSR. i give credit to them. (my sprites body's and head's are custom.)

i whould greatly appreciate it if there was not any basic recolors. at least make something that's truely your's. (example:tails edited to look like tails doll)

And i am not a awesome spriter like some people (looking at Smithy.) but i still try.

I don't think your quite good enough with the style to make a whole project revolving around it.
Bean the duck's colors look too dark, and his head needs to have a more round shape before adding the little hair forward.
Darkspine sonic's pallete is too dark. It doesent have enough contrast, and bomb's really simple :/

i know these thing's. but this is not a project for just me. it's for anybody who want's to participate. and i did say i was not all that good. in fact, i believe i'm only a noob when it comes to sprites.

Why is this somehow a "requirement" of this forum? Who are you to decide that?

And I believe someone else started this whole thing back on PT of which it had a lot of what you've listed already finished by people who actually cared about the project.

1. i'm a nobody. and i see no (completed) sprite sheet of these character's on TSR.

2.i can't go to PT for some strange reason. (computer won't show web page) so how was i supposed to know that?

3. i'll lock if that's what you are telling me.

Well, I wasn't aware you couldn't. As far as I can tell, people can still browse that page at least if recent memory serves correctly.

that makes me sad...

i was going to ask permission for usage of the sprites made from here for an animation. speaking of animation. anybody know of a good "movie maker." that's free? macromedia flash messes up the sprites for some reason.

i'll be back later. gonna go see a movie.

Flash only "messes up" sprites if you don't know how to use it properly.

While we appreciate your efforts, the only person who has any real authority to start a Sonic battle Style project here is JoeTE. And even though he doesn't really attend here often, the majority of Sonic Battle sheets have already been completed, rendering another project slightly redundant.
