I don't recall if there is already a topic or not (I don't think there is). But it doesn't matter, your rips, your topic (if someone happens to submit from the same game, then "great minds think alike", but still separate topics unless you ask if its OK to use the same one). So don't worry about that.
And don't worry about your first post being sub-par. Just as long as it isn't a request
And for a first post, it is good. Welcome to the site.

Thanks, and just as a a goal for this year, I'll see if I can rip all the characters, enemies, Arena maps, and weapons.
Enemies, weapons, and arena maps are already ripped and just sitting in my computer collecting e-dust. I have to find time to convert everything as well as make Icons for them.

Cool stuff dude! I don't think we've gotten anything for this game yet, but even for games we already have feel free to make your own thread. Most people just prefer to have a separate thread for their rips.
As for having a subpar first post, I'd have to beg to differ quite a bit. It's a hell of a first post if you ask me.

Many Thanks. I'm still wondering why this wasn't here before...
On a different note, I'm "TRYING" to see if I can find anything in the Tales of Graces files. All I can find are .apk and .acf files. Not totally sure how to extract from those. I asked Twilightzoney to see if he could figure it out... I'm sure he will, probably not for a little bit though.
On the note before the different note, Here's Sheena. The box couldn't fit her last name.

And Zelos. There's this ugly white lining around his picture. I'll see if I can fix that and update whenever I can.

I'll be pasting these on the first post once I reach 2+ pages.
So... Any character you have in mind? I don't mind doing them after I finish Genis, Lloyd, Collette, Presea, Emil, Luin Emil, Aster, Richter, Brute, Alice, Decus, and...... I think I'm missing someone. Oh wait. Tenebrae.

I've already ripped him [Emil Castagnier], as you can see from my avatar, but I have to convert him. Otherwise, I have one with a few edits and... Oh, wait. Never Mind. Just remembered that I keep Base Models, or unchanged ones for this. I'll see if I can upload him tomorrow. And No, the game can't be played with the gamecube controller, mainly due to the Sorceror's Ring function, and some parts of the game require the WiiMote's shake sensor.

Thanks for clearing it up, got the wii for christmas and am unsure of useing the wiimote in most games.
your rips are looking great, like i said i have'nt had a chance to see what the game has to offer yet, but i'm guessing it's full of all kinda of cool looking monsters and such. Colors models? as in Sonic Colors? sure that sounds great, so far i've only seen one model ripped from it. is Tales of Symphonia related to Tales of The Abyss?

Thanks! Have you played the first one? Think of the monsters as Pokemon. That fight alongside you.
and Yes, as in Sonic Colors.
Aselian timeline
The games in this timeline take place in the same world but many years apart from each other, with the exception of Tales of Symphonia and its sequel.
Tales of Symphonia takes place at least four thousand years prior to Tales of Phantasia, presumably about the same time as the year 1 of the Aserian Calendar, with its sequel Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World starting 2 years after the events of Tales of Symphonia. Tales of Phantasia takes place in three different time periods, with the "present" time being the year 4304 of the Aserian Calendar, "past" being 100 years prior (year 4204) and "future" 50 years later (year 4354). Its sequel, Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon, focuses on Mel and Dio and takes place 104 years after Tales of Phantasia's "present" time. Tales of the World: Summoner's Lineage takes place 411 years after Phantasia's future in the year 4765, with Claus's descendant Fulein K. Lester as the protagonist.
Otherwise, I don't think Abyss had anything to do with Symphonia.
Except for
Same as how Tales of Vesperia had that Cameo of the Traitor to Heaven...

One suggestion. Keep the "Wolf" near the beginning of the game. Level it up and evolve it until becomes a "Fenrir" or this:

I absolutely loved this game! I only rented it though and I never once saw it in a store after I played it. Man the thing I though was the worst was when that woman turned into that giant green monster in the beginning. That's when the plot really started to get interesting to me. It's been a good 4 years since I've played this though. None the less I'm stoked to see all these.

I never did play this game, but being a fan of JRPG's the series always interested me. One of these days I'm going to have to make a list of games to pick up from Gamestop and get some of the Tales of games.
And yeah if you want to work on Colors models that'd be great too since we don't really have many up right now as you can probably tell.
