But I'll ask anyway, With the HDN models Random Talking Bush has released to us, I've been having a small problem importing them into Blender. If I import the SMD file using SMD tools for blender, it does not import the texture mapping along with it. And if I import the DAE file, it imports the textures however it messes up on small parts of the mapping, in Noire for example, one of the ribbons gets the face texture on a few parts of it.
I've been looking for a way to fix this issue on my own, and am still trying to fix it, but, if perchance someone who is more familiar with blender than I, who knows how to fix this issue, and is willing to explain to me the process of doing so, I would be greatly appreciative. No idea why the SMDs wouldn't be working, 3DS Max imports them just fine. Anyway, try this DAE file out. If it works for you, I'll go back and convert all of the DAE files to use "OpenCollada" instead.

Well I thank you for the converted to OC, unfortunately Blender is giving me the same graphical mussup.
See the face texture gets placed on the ribbon. o.O quite random... though it does something similar to every model Ive ever imported into blender. I may have to bite the bullet and get my paws on 3dsmax... [how big is 3ds max anyway... blender is a nice little 30mb download.] As for the whole export as OBJ idea that was tossed out there, that would be fine if I wasn't trying to keep the bone structure intact. ]

I sent you a PM and as for 3DS Max, all I remember is it took a long time.

Oh well, Peardian hasn't uploaded my last submissions for that so I'm not claiming anymore until he does, plus I'm working on other things and haven't been able to use my lappy nearly as much lately anyway.

Very nicely done with the models!
Wait, a Mario pipe is an enemy? How does it even attack?

Wait, a Mario pipe is an enemy? How does it even attack? That's his attack. People get so confused that their brains melt.

I must admit, Metal Sonic does look ugly compared to his Generations model...

Well, that's because Sega basically recycled its model from Sonic Free Riders, as you can tell from the textures. Plus, Sonic Generations had a higher budget, so that explains why the models look better in that game.

WTF SEGA?
Lol....
So I'm a member of the Sonic Stadium, and a dude said he *made* a modern Metal Sonic model and *he rigged it* but he couldn't get it converted to Generations.
So I said: PM me the files, I'll do it for you. Guess what model he used....
