This. Only reason I've been able to rip from the Neptunia games is because someone over at the XeNTaX forums by the name of "howfie" decoded the model format and wrote a program capable of converting them to a format that Lightwave can use. And then I take it from there and convert it to a format 3DS Max can use, fix up any problems, etc. As far as I know, PlayStation Move Heroes doesn't have a known model format, and PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale's models are encrypted and may not be decrypted for a few years. Kinda like 3DS stuff, which nothing has happened for yet.

But yeah. PlayStation 1 models are impossible to rip through emulation, PlayStation 2 models are painful to rip with emulation, and PlayStation 3 models are impossible to rip since it's not emulated, all models for it have to be decoded from the original files.

Tsunami Bomb - The Simple Truth
We could run away
Leave behind anything paper
Not knowing where we're going to stay
When there's no Mondays

You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
When I'm in your arms, I feel safe from harm and sorrow too
You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
But most of all, nothing couldn't be solved when I'm with you

I've got the models sitting on my computer, so I could do so at a later time.

Hm. I could look into it sometime later, but I can't guarantee anything, unfortunately.

Anyway, one last little update before the year's over.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2:
(Neptune: Nep-Claus) (Neptune: Orange Frill)
[Image: th_IF_HDNMk2_NeptuneClaus_preview.jpg] [Image: th_IF_HDNMk2_NeptuneSwimsuit_preview.jpg]

(I also fixed up Neptune's finger bones and Blanc's smoothing groups, since both were a bit problematic.)

Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory:
(Rei Ryghts)

I've still got the rest of the Blade Kitten models to fix up. I'll be doing so... one of these days, at least.

(EDIT: Gah. I'm re-submitting Purple Heart because I accidentally uploaded the wrong face textures, and also because the model had TWO right ears overlapping each other, one of which is more detailed but not attached to the model properly. I don't even...)

Think you can do OBJ? The DAE files seem to crash Max when importing.

Thanked by:
Oh yeah .OBJs are kinda necessary in case the .DAE can't be used right?

Are you using ColladaMax and not the default DAE importer? Regardless, Noesis can convert the DAE/SMD to a bunch of other formats (maybe FBX will work better?).

I don't really like submitting my models as OBJ since OBJs don't keep the rigging and almost everything I've submitted does (why re-rig when it's not necessary?).
Thanked by:
I'm using the Autodesk FBX Converter
STEP 1.DAE to FBX Convert
STEP 2.FBX to OBJ Convert
Complete!Wink
