I got LSDJ the other day and made a little tune. This tune isn't great but i'm only just starting out on this software/hardware.
I was getting a bit sick of milkytracker, mainly because I wasn't getting the right sounds I wanted and the making a groove or shuffle on lsdj is easier etc
Criticism would be good or tips would be great.

I'll pretend lexou was being sarcastic.
Anyways, I would like this more if it wasn't a mixture of raster graphics and vectors, to be honest.
Actually, I just wanted to point out that criticism is just as good as tips; No more, no less.

Side-eying at this thread.
It's pretty pointless picking at how they phrased their post when they want concrit on their music. :I

The song is cute! I think maybe it's a bit too bassy though; the two basslines are sort of overpowering the melody for me a bit. Can you make them quieter, or maybe make one of them a bit higher so it's less heavy?

I dunno if this will count as a necropost or whatever but I haven't been on in a long time.
I would done exactly that if I hadn't gone and accidentally saved over that song file
Listening back to it the bass does pull you away from the melody a fair bit.
Anyways, I have been practicing a bit more recently and have another song to put up.
Same again, crit is always welcome.

Just to add. I love how many people asked about the "crit or tip" thing...
That was pretty much me not thinking.

Haha, I think i'm going to have to give this black metal chiptune a go. It would be hilariously entertaining!
Glad you liked what you heard. It's most definitely the polar opposite of black metal haha

I like it very much.
Very retroy, very Earthbound=ish.

Thanks
I'm happy you enjoyed it.
It's funny you said earthbound-ish because I really wanna cover Twinkle Elementary from earthbound or mother haha, i dunno if they're the same thing or not.

I first heard this tune in the credits of gameboy camera.
