Ahh, I was just thinking Sonic should be darker! How many other characters are you adding to this? I think I see what you're doing now! April 1st thing?

EDIT: I personally think Sonic's current blue looks okay, it resembles the classic Genesis sprite more, though I wonder if a darker blue like Sonic normally is would work too like Retro says?

I actually think that you should take the blue from Sonic and use it for Mario's pants. The current blue doesn't look right. :V

I'd have to agree with RetroX; the blue on Sonic looks like it'd do a bit better on all the other characters as well, except Taizo.

Marina looks great. Cotton looks okay; the broom and her hair are probably the best parts; her left arm looks awkward though.

Errr... I'm sorry I'm not sure if I quite get it, but...

I just wanted to say that Bomberman's feet look a bit strange, they look more like boots (the top part above his feet) than his normal round pink feet, and the color for his body should be darker like Mario's new pants. Otherwise, looks cool! I now know who all the characters are except for the guy next to Mario in red.

It's the Vic Viper from Gradius.

And, it has a bit of banding on it (the main body). Also, a lot of the anti-aliasing on it looks more like it just emphasizes the corners more, rather than eliminating them.
I like the shields, though.

By the way, (Don't know if it's been said.) but you should consider shading Mario's cap and shirt. You should also shorten Sonic's feet by just 1 pixel or so. I know that's classic Sonic and all, (the better Sonic in my opinion) but the length of them is a tad extreme.

Well fuck, did not see that coming.

I'm not sure about the shading on Bomberman's hands.
The 2 look somewhat shaded as the light is front, and then you have the head sphere shaded indefinitely from the left.
