Hello ...
Come here to show my first job in editing of sprites. I am editing the character Karbrac, design TV Mortal Kombat Defensers of the Realm.
As there are no sprites of 2D games for this char, I decided to edit the Baraka, for being the Warrior more like Karbrac.
See what I did until now:

I'm sorry, friend ... XD
I didn't realize it had been this way. But it was nice to stay that way. As it is still a WIP, he will be protected.
I play games with the MUGEN engine.
And, in this way, some people tend to get hold of things without permission or without giving credits.
Don't have much experience in RIP sprites ...
This char is only a demonstration of what I'm doing. Once ready, everyone can use freely. However, while no WIP.
Thank you

If people cant see what you've made due to the size deformation, then why even post them? This is the "Sprite Discussion Forum." How can we discus something we can not clearly visualize? I understand you feel the need to protect your work. But posting it here as you have renders the entire thread useless, to both you and us.

hello adriano!
i would understand your logic if it were a complete, finished sheet. it isn't, so resizing in my opinion isn't necessary. what i find more amusing is that you're doing this for edited sprites. i don't have much else to say about your sprites.

I can't even see what's been edited.
Making a character based on Baraka and even going as far to name your character with near-enough an anagram of his name = ugh. Do something original. Start with the character idea before making sprites, and try and come up with something other than basing them on an existing character. Please.

I apologize to all ... now I've updated the image. Why I think important to protect work edited? Because it is easy to find by sprites from Mortal Kombat. Edit them, cut here and there, it is difficult. For this reason I want to protect it.
Karbrac is an anagram of Baraka? YES ... but I didn't create this.
As I already wrote in the first post: Karbrac is a fictional character in the animated Mortal Kombat Defenders of the realm. I am not the creator of the anagram.
I edited sprites to make it different from Baraka.
Thanks for your opinion.

Okay, fine, I assumed it was a fan character, my bad on that one.
Still, it's a poor edit. What, you... flood-filled to lighten some areas on the pants and gave him an undershirt? Is that it? Humour me and point out what you've actually *changed*.

Thanks for your opinion ... is this kind of criticism that I need. It is still a WIP. A lot can change. I'm thinking of adding a ponytail on top of the head, keeping still bald. Move the stop position. And change colors of clothes as well. Still waiting for more criticisms and/or suggestions. Thank you

ok
editing prerendered sprites, specially mortal kombat ones, is not only a terrible idea due the nature of said sprites(wich considering that if you are editing sprites you clearly do not have the skills to mimic the "photo-realistic" qualities of said graphics), but also doing so in such an extremely poor excuse of an edit? and you dare to call this custom?
i feel like inviting you to get the hell out of here and come back when you actually have sprites you actually made or are making and need help because you cant get that shade of color or you're having trouble with the lineart. this bullshit excuse of a sprite edit could hardly ever get any proper critique besides "dont fucking do it".
i'm going to lock this thread right away. this has nothing to do with spriting. if you have any proper content you need to work on, specially if it was made by you rather than poorly executed sprite edits, then go ahead and share them. otherwise, dont even bother.
