I'm not sure if that would require re-ripping or not. EDIT: Also, you may consider keeping it on a colored BG instead of transparent as it seems to turn black when saved.

Also these are blurry and resized... And useless...
Sorry, but we can't accept them.

Changed background-color.
I compared it to another Sprite I found elsewhere and I didn't see any resizement/bluriness (03-16-2011, 02:32 PM)Dils Wrote: Changed background-color. Hmm, what platform is Breath of Fire 3 from? Perhaps the style simply uses larger sprites with more shading? EDIT: Actually, the image you showed above is how the sprite is supposed to look, correct? Look at the sprites on your sheet carefully, you'll notice they actually are pretty blurry... sorry.

It looks like Photobucket shrunk the sheet, have you checked to see if your uploading settings are set to 1 MB? If they are and still resizes them then try uploading it somewhere else.
Okay, now I've uploaded in Picasa, please tell me if they're better or not
I've closed and re-opened the sheet in Paint and GIMP several times, and they look fine to me EDIT: Okay, I take that back. I downloaded the one I just uploaded and DAMN it looks blurry. And I couldn't find the 1MB-option at Photobucket. Man I suck today Still have the base sheet though. It gets blurry with the uploads for some reason. I'll retry tomorrow .-.

Upload to imageshack.us or min.us
They don't require signups.

That sheet looks pretty good to me! You might consider adding a small credit tag (not that you HAVE to, but would be a good idea) too.

Quote:That sheet looks pretty good to me! You might consider adding a small credit tag (not that you HAVE to, but would be a good idea) too.no. S: I hate to break it to you, but you may have to re-rip it. as is, it's scaled; and it's done so improperly, meaning it was ripped from the game while the game itself was scaled. The problem here, is that the scaling will distort the pixels if you try to return the sprite to its normal size: this is evidenced by the fact that not everything follows the 2x2 ratio here. For example, look at the top two frames on the left: the blocks are all 2x2, but there are parts that do not conform to that ratio, like the single pixel line of beard visible behind the shoulder on the rop right frame, where he has his back turned to us. Not all of the frames are distorted like that, and as such portions of th sheet should be salvageable, but I would strongly recommend re-ripping any frame that has that kind of distortion on it. I would also recommend reducing that ratio to 1x1, because as-is the sprites are oversized. edit: http://www.dragon-tear.net/images/bof3/t...1__ani.gif this is a good example of a sprite from the game at its proper size.

Ahh, that's not too good
I realized he was missing a few sprites anyways (he's driving a boat), so I had to continue ripping eventually. Hopefully some of the sprites can be saved I'll try to fix him later, I'm ripping Gaist right now Thanked by: Garamonde,
