Just seen the update you did and that new KI2 icon does look better
By the way I'll be upload more stuff soon! I currently ripping KI2 Spinal (10 frames idle, 13 Frames walking and 23 frame jumping wtf!!!) also SNES Mortal Kombat Ripping going well. I've done Scorpion, Sub Zero, Reptile (yes, Reptile) and I'm half way through Liu Kang.
Fantastic! Which version are you currently ripping from?
You only finish a game when you rip its sprites.
Sprite sheet is a sticker album that depends only on your efforts to be fill.

Your ripping speed is absurd...
You must know every single move like the back of your hand...

I try my best
Actually, that might be why Spinal's taking me so long to rip. I don't play him much. I've had to dig out my old strategy guide!
By the way, how are you ripping KI2? As far as I know, Mame's tile viewer don't work with it.
Speaking of which, I wanted to rip som things from the first Mortal Kombat (arcade version, obviously), and was looking for ways to do it.

Your right, Mame's tile viewer is useless. I think it only works with certain fighting games like Street Fighter.
I'm using ARTMONEY to rip sprites from Killer Instinct 2, it's the only way I know how. I spent a lot of time finding the codes needed to modify the game to the point where i can remove backgrounds layers, remove hit sparks and other special effects, make player 2 invisible, infinite health and so on. Just Google Artmoney and just mess about with it (that's all I did, although it can be time consuming).
As for the arcade version of Mortal Kombat, look up Maxim's post on the first page of this thread (I haven't tried it myself mind you)
SPINAL FROM KILLER INSTINCT 2 IS FINALLY FINISHED!!!
I'm glad that's over with because now i can start another character
Fantastic! A shame they removed Cinder from KI2.

Funny you should mention Cinder
Here's a few fighters from Power Moves (SNES)
The game is the snes version of the genesis game, deadly moves.

Cinder's fire beam looks a little bit confusing, is it the correct direction (shooting to the right)? I've also have problems to recognize which part belongs to which frame.
