Mortal Kombat & DC Universe Models

I ripped these models so... yeah. The compressed files are 47.36 mb in total, and the extracted is 125.20. So... it's kinda big. The textures are .vtf and the models are .smd

Sorry for not posting pictures. I didn't see the guidelines thread. I'll make the icons soon. But how do I put a picture? Do I have to upload it somewhere and then put the link? Until I have pictures, watch the video with the models

Hi guy who I definitely do not know from anywhere else.

You might want to upload them separately so that people can get the model they want without the extra baggage.

And yeah, you want to upload the pictures on something like imageshack and use the [img][/img] thing for your images. Plus:

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3

I recommend using the [url][/url] thing that these forums use.

As usual I'm late to the party, but edster has given you some good advice. You really should upload them as separate things (i.e. Superman gets his own .zip, Spiderman gets his own .rar, you get the picture). The textures really need to be .png too preferably although .bmp is acceptable too so long as you're not sacrificing transparency or something for it.

I think everything else has been said or is already in order so I'll leave it at that.

Also, the forum will automatically place hyperlinks on URL's so long as you separate the URL from everything else. For example: http://www.google.com LinkBreakerhttp://www.google.com You can use the URL tags to link pictures to a webpage though.

Ok. I'll do that. Thanks for the advice, Shadowth177, and guy who I definitely do not know from anywhere else either. I'll do that later today if I have time.

It would be nice if someone could export and upload the models as .obj or .DAE. I can't get the smd importer to work in 3ds max 2012 for some reason.

Well it wasn't exactly made for 2012 and seeing as the author of the plugin has stated he doesn't plan on getting that version of Max I don't see a new plugin being made as very likely. Someone else might work on it at a later date or something, but I really have no idea. You could use Blender though for now to convert the models.

Regardless, I'd appreciate if you didn't necropost in old threads.
