I don't think it would be a bad idea if you were to start from scratch. That way, you can completely rework the posing and make it look more natural, rather than trying to edit your current one and ending up with something that doesn't seem as natural and may just be your old pose with things moved around using the selection tool. I think you'd feel more free on the pose if you start over.
