They pay for my school as long as I live there and I still haven't saved up enough money to sustain myself for any reasonable amount of time, and that's only factoring in the costs of rent itself.
i'm not even talking about food or utilities or insurance or medical costs, just rent.

For a long while I considered a 3-way split with a friend and one of his friends on a 3-bedroom apartment, and once I added everything up I was able to -just barely- cover rent each month. After a 3-way split.
No food, no insurance or anything, nothing else.
Just rent.
And this is from pouring every cent I made into it.
