The Expendables.
Some parts were plain awful in this film, but it made me laugh. Some of the fighting was well executed, though.
I felt it was Stallone's mid-life (more towards 60 actually) crisis, but also like a synthesis of action films such as Predator and Commando.
The Schwarzy cameo was one of my favourite bits: I find he delivers better than Stallone, who tends to mumble and ramble.
Jason Statham did a good job in this film, too.
I still think Gran Torino is a better film directed and starring an aging action movie actor.

I might know why Stallone's beard looked out of place: I think it's because he dyed it. I noticed in one shot of the film it was pepper going onto grey, whereas in most close-ups and others it was jet-black.

Cowboys and Aliens:
Shockingly, not the worst thing I've ever seen. Rather enjoyable, really.

Really solid movie, surprisingly not stupid or visually exhausting.

I started watching The Green Hornet.
35 minutes of "wtf am I watching" (in the bad way) later, I threw the disc out.

The aliens in Cowboys and Aliens were pretty retarded for advanced creatures.
Also that scene where she comes out of the fire naked was stupid.
But it was pretty fun. I liked it.
