On a side note, Adventure Time has gone to shit now. It's just hipster fan service anymore (at least from what I have seen of the new episodes).

what?? the closest thing to any kind of fanservice I've seen in the show (hipster or not) is that they revealed the origins of the ice king at the end of the latest episode (which is something some fans might've wanted to see)
one segment, of one episode, and I'm not even sure it counts. other than that I haven't noticed anything that remotely fits your description

edit: wait, I just remembered, there was also the episode with me-mow, but that was a small child who won a contest, so although that is literally service to a fan, that isn't something to be mad about so I imagine you don't mean that either

uh... every character looks and acts the same as always, except marceline who has already appeared in different looks before, in seasons 1 and 2 (not actually 100% sure about 1, but definitely in 2 I think), and ice king, whose change in attitude isn't remotely related to anything in the whole universe that could be possibly constrained as "hipster," so... ?????
I mean unless I missed a pivotal episode this season where finn and jake put on flannel shirts and glasses with big thick frames and ironic t-shirts, and started namedropping obscure bands that exist irl
and I'm not really sure what's "hipster fanservice" about the door master episode?? do you mean that one bit that lasted a handful of seconds where marceline's like "oh hey here's a thing of yours that you gave me, I still had it" "oh you cared... *blush*" cuz I don't see what's... hipster about that. fanservice, maybe?? but def. not hipster
