KA Mario project

Hello there, everyone.

It's mario in KA. Refer to this tutorial: http://www.spriters-resource.com/resourc.../kirbyadv/
So, the rules are...

1. As I said before, it's all in KA (KIrby Advance) style.
   
2. Quality control is on.
   
3. Edits and recolors are NOT allowed.
   
4. Anyone can join.
   
5. The game will be a combination of SMW/KNIDL.
   

So, the list of sprites we need is rather large.

*Kirby and Meta knight will be featured as playable characters, but they are ripped already, so it would be unnecessary to make them custom.

Seems like a promising project, but are there any size charts or anything, I mean, if I wanted to try, I have no idea if ill spend hours on something completly useless cuz its too big or anything simular, do you have any sprites you made just to show how they are meant to look?

With what are you going to make the game?

I dunno if it's good enough, because I mainly looked at the shape of Kirby.
But I'll post it anyway.
(Also please tell which one is better.)
And isn't Master Hand also ripped?

Game maker.

They should not be any larger than Dynablade, and no smaller than kirby.
Although you can pass these limits with characters like jinx or hooktail.
So, here's the size chart.    

Edit: The one on the right looks better. Lessen the really dark shading on his right (Our left) cheek, make the eyebrows
a bit bigger and make his left (our right) cheek smaller.
And thank you for pointing that out about the master hand.

When you say that, do you mean "is there anything specific you want
me to do?", then no, you don't have to do any thing specific. Do whatever you want.

This seems cool, I might wanna do some things. But what is that Puffer thing at the bottom of the enemies list?? I have some Crystal Shards enemies done.

Hey, I thought I might do something to help you guys out, although I can't say I'll be participating otherwise.

Here's a size comparison between Mario and Kirby that was posted in the Smash Bros. Project thread.



Then, here's a size chart between most of the main cast of the Mario series. I figured you could use them with each other to relate the sizes of Mario and Kirby characters more easily. Hope they're useful!

look's pretty good. the shell could use a little bit more work. other than that it's good.

i may contribute to this.

EDIT:by that i mean make the little sections of the shell more visable. not just a bunch of little lines

There's not supposed to be any black lines besides the eyes.
Oh, and here you go. It's not the best.

But ugh, that yellow is ugly. Where's Devicho when you need her? xD
