I really hope that blonde girl that Dexter was with and appeared to be kissing won't be a season 2/5 (and somewhat 3) plot rehash.
Looks like more people are tracking him now and Deb is FINALLY going to find out.
I hope the black guy with the glasses is like, Mini Doakes or something.
Since when does Dexter kill with blunt force? His MO is a stab through the heart. Could he be changing the ritual?

Yeah but that was cause he was angry and pissed and sad about Rita's death, he didn't know if that guy was a killer or not he just needed to let out steam. Thus... what I said before.

i was wondering this too. it's not clean at all, he's fucking around.

Saw the first episode.
It starts with Dexter calling 9/11 because he'd been stabbed. It was fake. He takes the paramedics down, paramedics who were letting people die/killing people so that they could harvest organs for profit.
He goes to his high school reunion.
Gets a blowjob. That was the scene in the trailer with the blonde - it doesn't look like its something that'll be touched on again.
Gets a sample of his own blood.
Dances.
Plays football.
It looks like Quinn wants to marry Deb.

Putting snakes into a dead guy is one thing, butchering another and fitting them with manikins is another. But this is beyond shocking if you ask me.
This season is really fucking different from the others in terms of plot and shock value.

Is it alright that I wasn't entirely surprised when Brian Moser/Ice Truck Killer showed up as a part of Dexter's Dark passenger?
Judging by the fact that there was some sort of hint that he was referenced in earlier episodes with the hand from his case (if you watched season one at all then you know what I'm talking about) it seem kind of obvious he was going to show up at sum point.
The only thing that I'm wondering right now is whether or not this will be his last season. I'm almost convinced it is, but maybe it won't be.
If it isn't the last season then I'm wondering who else will show up whenever Dexter wants to talk to himself since this opens up new possibilities in the series.
It's already obvious why Harry shows up. But now that Brian is showing up there's two possibilities in mind when he shows up keeping in mind that Brian's motive was to get Dexter into killing people with him in season one. Like the preview of the next episode, Dexter is going to get pissed and make some sort of stupid mistake, Brian shows up so he can tempt Dexter into going on a rampage. Or/and he will possibly show up during Dexter's ritual where he kills his victims. Ether way I can see him staying on the show.
I'm kind of opted to believe that this won't be the last episode Brother Sam will be in and there's the possibility he will show up, To be honest since this season is about faith there's some possibility that he will show up when ever Dexter has some issue in that area. Might not happen but it's a possible theory.
Then there's Rita who could probably show up whenever he is with Harrison. Lets be honest I'm convinced that there's going to be that season where Harrison is going to be growing up, figuring out things in the world and possibly getting in trouble. I'm convinced Dexter will think "well shit what would Rita do in a situation like this?".
Mind you I'm not saying it will happen I'm just saying that there's a massive possibility that there's a possibility that the whole Dark Passenger concept will be expanded upon.
If you tl;dr'd this then here's a summary of the theory
Concept of the Dark Passenger is being expanded upon and Dexter will see _______ in a certain situation.
Harry = Whenever Dexter is doing detective work on his own.
Brian = Whenever Dexter is pissed and does something stupid (OR when he ends up doing his "ritual")
Sam = Whenever Dexter is having trouble with faith (Not entirely certain it will happen)
Rita = Whenever Dexter is having trouble with Harrison's behavior in a later season.

Wow, the show is a hell of a lot different from the books.
In the book, Debs knows more or less right from the beginning (because of Brian), and it's sort of an ongoing subplot that she wants to trust Harry's decisions, but she feels like it goes against her morals (since she's a cop).
Also, in the books Dexter starts to act a lot more human later on after he and Rita have Lily Ann. He spends almost a whole chapter just going on and on about how much he loves his baby, it starts to get really weird.

Yeah it is very different, things need to get adjusted for tv audiences, apparently, dunno really to be honest.
That being said, I like this season more than the last one so far
