Well, it depends on who's leaving. If you haven't really posted in a while, it's pointless. It doesn't make sense to essentially leave, then come back just to say that you're leaving.

If you're suddenly leaving because of a certain event, etc., then I don't see a problem with explaining why, at least. Just don't create a leaving topic with the intent of inciting drama.

Or you know, people like to let those who give a fuck about em know they're leaving, and I suppose so people who hate them can inhale a fresh breath of relief. Don't see why everyone's being so dickish about this. When Chris2balls left for a while or Tyvon, people were spouting support for them and wishing them the best, but when its someone not in god tier here, its a shitty goodbye for them.
