I appreciate the advice a lot of you have given me. All I can ask for is some friendly critique to better improve my triangles, and you have definitely given me that. I have taken one of my original triangles (can you guess which one?) and applied some TLC* which I think is a good start to building a future in which nobody gets upset or angry at me just because they hate triangles.

the sprite still looks bad because of the lack of care in the outlines, such as hair.

also the brush eyes and mouth totally clashes with the rest of the piece, not to say that you should avoid dithering and use solid colors instead.

ps: that's not the way you shade a triangle; since the triangle is a 2D object, it shouldn't have curved shading or any shading to that matter.
