I'd like to add that the Pause file contains an unused animation of Kirby coming out from behind the Pause graphic. The animation's interestingly called "test".

Kirby does pop out from behind the pause text though. Unless you mean a different animation from what they actually used.

Really? Huh, better get playing it again. Yeah, it's used but never noticed it before due to extremely slow emulation pre-JIT. Just seems odd to name it "test", although there's one that's not right that's also called "test" in the sound test, but could be correct in Atsumete! Kirby (Mass Attack in Japan). Don't mind me, I just waffle on for ages.

Question: Would you like the European (same as US but includes German and Italian) and Japan files as well while I'm at it?

Actually I was wondering where the Japanese versions of these files ARE. I've been ripping from what's supposed to be a Japanese version of the game.

If the ROM's called "Atsumete! Kirby" then it's the right one. Try running it in DeSmuMe, and see if it's similar to Mass Attack (I use the latest SVN build; it has file browser and JIT recompiler which means MASSIVE speedups). The files should be in exactly the same folders, but without the "_US" suffix and are just standard format, so no extraction needed.

Well clearly this rom is not as Japanese as advertised.
I dunno if I'm going to bother being anal enough to get every language variation though. I've only been doing these lately because everything's been really shitty in my life as of late and since Barubary has made it so easy to rip these it makes it kind of relaxing. Eventually I plan to move back into harder projects like re-ripping the rest of Super Star or maybe doing some custom stuff if I can get myself into the right mindset for it. As far as ripping this goes, as long as I get all the images I'm not worried about getting every single text variation.
P.S. Two things:
1. I realized that I probably should be giving you credit for giving me the US content. What name do you go by when you submit stuff? Do you just go by your forum name?
2. It doesn't seem like all the files I placed in my rar file were included in your unpacked version. Are those files just not unpackable, or are those files disappearing at some point traveling between us?

Yeah, fair enough.
1. You can credit me via my forum name (it's kinda my internet name as well
)
2. Those files not included were either the dat files, or could be ripped normally as they had just that one file. Hope I didn't confuse you.
Hm, I'm actually not sure where that's from, either. Also, I noticed the sheet itself is accidentally labelled "Strato Patrol EOS HUD", you should probably fix that.
Ooh, a possible new custom. I'm intrigued.
