A bit spoiler, but how many heart containers are there? Not pieces as I'll find that out by myself I'm sure, just the heart containers you receive from bosses. Since you start with 6 hearts, I expect to not have to find as many heart pieces to get to 20.
If it's 7 heart containers, combined with 6 heart containers at the beginning, that means 13 by the time of the final dungeon. 7 x 4 = 28.
Dang, that's not that many at all really, by console Zelda standards.

Is it me or does Ghiriham remind me of Vaati?
not sure if anyone else caught on to it yet but the both of them look too similar in design.
I thought he was Vaati the first time I saw him in a Skyward Sword trailer.

A more sexualized Vaati. Dunno what to think about that.

Perhaps Ghiriham is vaati's incarnation.
Sort of similar to what they did with Ganondorf being demise's incarnation.

When me and my sister heard that Skyward Sword was coming out, I think that we started playing Brawl and beating the crud out of Link. Because we've always hated the Zelda series. I don't really know WHY I hate it, I think it has something to do with Youtube.
Uhh, cool?
That has barely anything to do with anything, though.

You just made my life, sploder. And I have to say- i can't believe ghirahim (lol spelling) was as hard as he was in the first dungeon. He wasn't THAT hard, but as a first boss it's pretty crazy. Specially since i haven't fully figured out the right angle to hold my hands at for each slash direction

Loving the game so far. Also, it's a bit too early to tell yet, but I think I might like Skyloft better than Clock town.

skyloft can't be better than clock town because none of the characters are even remotely interesting/developed except for groose
aesthetically its nice but there's nothing special about any of the people really, and that's what made clock town so great

There were a lot of boring characters in Clock Town too. Those kids, the soldiers, the carpenters. The people who run the stores in Skyloft actually have more personality than the ones in Clock Town, you can actually see what they are like when they are not working.
Still Clock Town has those few really developed characters that stand out more than any of these guys. There aren't as many as you say there are but still.
