Hai! I wanna learn how to sprite people, when I say people, I mean ones like this http://www.spriters-resource.com/ds/lumi...heet/42537

if anyone can teach me, it would be much appreciated.

Are you totally new to spriting? I would suggest taking a look at the dictionary here, as well as looking up some tutorials:

http://www.spriters-resource.com/communi...?tid=13868

http://www.petesqbsite.com/sections/tuto...apter8.htm

http://www.dragonflycave.com/recoloring.aspx

Then you can try spriting something in the style that you wanted to learn, and then post it here. Then we'll tell you what we think and help you improve.

That's kind of how it works I guess.

Honestly I've never liked Butterfree's tutorials (the Pokemon ones). They're old, prioritize editing/recoloring and I honestly hate her description of selout (she calls it "dots")

Sadly I can't really recommend a 'better' tutorial, as the only ones I really know of are my own, the ones here on tSR and st0ven's (which are long-gone from the internet.)

I'd say just make something and post it, we'll try to help your individual skills and situation Smile

Yeah, really the best way to learn when it comes to spriting is practice. Check some tutorials, look at some official game sprites to get a general feel of how things like hue-shifting, AAing, etc are used, and whip up something yourself. Then we can get an idea of what you're getting the hang of and what can be improved. :>

Just upload it to an image hosting site (imgur.com works well) and post the direct link to it within [img] tags.

Look harder.

There's a lot.

A lot.

The sprite is pretty awkward, the pose could be a little more solid/sturdy to begin with.

It's too hard to see your sprite, it's so small.

Try aiming to go a little bigger than you are right now.

To be honest, maybe you should look up some sprites around the site, find a game's art style that you like and attempt to try spriting in it by looking at the details of it.
