In SSBB Hacks, they've recently come up with a model importer. I really really want to play as Bass.exe, and I bought the game with his model in it and ripped the data.
All the model files are in .pac and I can't open them. Please help me!
While we don't normally take requests from new members, I think this is more a question of help with learning, so I'll let it slide.
.pac are archive files that could be anything. You'll need to tell us which game it is for a start...
And it might be an idea to upload the .pac file so we can check it out.
Tsunami Bomb - The Simple Truth
We could run away
Leave behind anything paper
Not knowing where we're going to stay
When there's no Mondays
You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
When I'm in your arms, I feel safe from harm and sorrow too
You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
But most of all, nothing couldn't be solved when I'm with you

The game is Megaman Battle Network Transmission, a Gamecube game.
I uploaded the folder "Navi" and since I can't open the model files I'm not sure which one is Bass.exe

I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to GCN/Wii hacking, but I did take a look at the files. Unfortunately, the internal file names are so generic that I can't tell which is which. However, I can say that each file has a header that starts with the letters "CAPR" (Hex: 43 41 50 52). Hopefully that should give you a good lead on what tool(s?) to look for, if any exist.

I was hoping the guy who ripped the textures from that game could help me, since I have no clue what I'm doing with all these files :/
Thanks for your help though
Ultimecia ripped the textures from MegaMan Network Transmission. I don't think she knows much about models though, and she hasn't been on in a while anyway.

Those files you have contain both the models and their related textures. That's usually how games do it nowadays. As far as why Ultimecia was able to rip textures from it, certain emulators and tools are capable of dumping the textures loaded in memory. You don't even need to go into the game to get stuff from it, you just need to play it with the feature running.
