Readability is kind of bad in the first one around his left foot. Diablos right leg looks kind of funky (the one jutting out), as well as his big fist.

hard to tell what the hell is going on on these larger sprites without zooming in. wich is a warning for bad readbility.

i'd simplify the shading to make the sihoulette of the monster more clear and easy to identify.

maybe its me, but they still come off as poorly readable. maybe its a matter of the desing trying to fit way too many details into such a small sprite.

i'd rather shade the sprites with a small amount of color just to define each bodypart.

this is of course, considering these follow GBC pokemon's concept.

I really had trouble shading it right and getting the right colors. I try to follow your feedback, but am unsure if I'm getting it right. The details and shading in the references tend to make me screw up. I do believe Lagiacrus and Jinouga are succesful results.

p.s. ImageShack is really getting on my nerve. Now they force me to make an account? I have one, but forgot the password with no option of recovering it! I still manage to get around the system if I'm fast enough, though.
