Bomberman Blast Resource

BRRES Viewer won't let me view any files. It either shows up like this, and it won't show up in the program, or loading the file throws the program into a "not responding" state and/or it says "BRRES Viewer has stopped working" and whatever.

Open it up in BrawlBox v0.65, change the compression from "LZ77" to "None", then save it. It should then be able to be previewed in BRRESViewer. It doesn't work with compressed files, while BrawlBox does.

Or there's another option. The tool is called Puyo_Tools. It can decompress an entire directory. Just give me a second to track down the tool.

How to Use

Open up puyo_tools.exe.

Click Compression> Decompress> Select Directory.

Locate the folder where all of the Bomberman Blast files are.

If You want to decompress everything then just select that folder and hit OK, or else select a folder within the main folder.

A window will popup that says "Include Files from sub directory", click Yes.

In the new window make sure the top two options are selected and none of the others are.

Press "Decompress" and everything should work in Brres Viewer.

And thanks RTB for helping too. Sorry, I'm not trying to avoid using BrawlBox like it might seem. It's just that decompressing a whole directory sounded REALLY good to me especially considering the large amount of files.

Now, before I add these, I have a question... I believe there were plans to do the full Bomberman Wii game as well, right? Are all of these exact same models in that game as well? I'm trying to figure out whether or not I should create a section for this WiiWare game if all of this content is from a main Wii game.

OK, I've finally looked at the files and the WiiWare models are the same as the Full game.

So far I haven't been able to find the other Bombers yet.

Also I made up a couple thumbnails for the game. The second one has (JP). You can choose which one seems better.

Those "NPCs" are actually the common enemies in the Story Mode.

Alright I FINALLY got around to editing that post above. Sorry for the wait, they can now be uploaded.

Changes include:

*Edited the icons to say "Enemy XX" because they are enemies and not NPCs
*Re-uploaded Enemy 03's ZIP to include the "Mini" version
*Edited Enemy 03's preview image to include both the original and "Mini" versions

...Guys, I just noticed that my Credits notepad that I include with all the Bomberman models says it was ripped by Random Talking Bush instead of John2k4... I don't know how I overlooked that and I apologize greatly for it. Should I update all my previous submissions with the right one? I've already updated the new ones above.
