Zelda looks a little stiff, but like you said,(typed) it's just a test sprite.
The effects look nice though.
Olimar looks good too.

I like the last one on the right too, the head looks a whole lot better compared to the other ones Cute

I Like the last one on the right.
Because it looks more kind of realistic.
But I like the way of the shield on the first to the left.....hard to decide....
