The Olympic Winter Games Models were Very High Poly.
I have most of them, and they were much better than this.
I looked at a PIC from the Wii Version, and you can tell that the Spikes and Ears just look wrong compared to this model.
I will Continue to think this is the 3DS Version, until I get a Hold of this ISO and rip them Myself.

One thing I noticed is that Sonic feet are almost merged together. Shadow's too. Is that normal or is it something that needs to be fixed?

Nope, they are the Wii version's. However, they're the low-poly Wii models (since the medium and high-poly models have separate face models).

Wait, these are the low-poly character models? That's disappointing. It would be great if LittleBoygo ripped the higher-poly versions as well and bundled them with the low-poly model.


Also, I tried looking into why the models weren't working for me, but I really don't know enough about the DAE schema to figure out what was wrong.

Hey everyone... I'm back... Sorry, I got caught up in my Brawl Hacking, my friend is rigging some of these into SSBB now. I have a TON of models. And I fixed the problem with the .DAEs. The problem was, I was a noob then, and forgot to use Noesis, when before, I was using BrawlBox, so they only work in Brawl. I have a new load of Fortune Street, London and Galaxy Models ready to go. I just need to make icons. I will post them tonight for you guys Wink

Just to clarify, yes Peardian is the only one of you who gets it xD Let me explain... The London models all have seperate heads, and goofed up polygon issues. EXCEPT the Low-res models. Winter Games, however, has the problem with all models. So, I whoever requested Dry Bowser from Winter, no, I can't get it to you. I will post Dry Bowser from London though, and it's quite a bit better. Now, I'm gonna get to those icons. Anymore requests?
Okay, before I go model happy... is are this DAE and OBJ good for you guys?

Hooray, you're stlil here! Big Grin I was afraid you weren't going to post again. Tongue

What kind of polygon issues are you talking about? And really, separate heads are not a problem except when you want to render. Anyone who plans on using the model can easily combine the pieces on their own. If the polygon issues you mentioned aren't too bad, I still encourage you to rip them.

As for the model, it actually links to Mario and not Silver, but that's okay, because it's still a model to check.

The first thing to mention is that you put in the actual BRRES file instead of an OBJ. We can't accept game files, so be sure to take them out if you have them in any of the other submissions.

The only other issue is a minor one, and it's that the DAE uses absolute paths for the texture names instead of relative ones. This post shows you how you can easily correct it, if you don't already know how. No re-exporting necessary, just a text editor is needed.

And of course, it would be great if you included rips of the high-poly models, even if they are in pieces, as long as they're not messed up.

Other than the texture paths in the DAE being messed up, Silver is good.


And I still want to know what these "goofed up" polygon issues are. Tongue Care to post a rip of one of them for me check out?

I searched all over the web looking towards a model of Dry bowser

I did in fact ask about this for you before, but LittleBoygos hasn't been online much and he has other models he is doing.
Hopefully he will do it soon though, because I love your paper crafts.
I also apologize for not getting back to you, I have been super busy and I've have a lot I need to get done as well.
