What time is it?
video tyme
It doesn't really show in the video but, today I got music looping on the game forever. For-fucking-ever. I did an NES track because it was simple and I loved it. I'll probably tackle harder songs when I have the time.
I could set up a tutorial on how I did it. It was really easy since I had a bit of skills during RPG VX days when I looped OGGs from various soundtracks.

Yup, putting up the current build of the game, since I haven't touched the engine for 2 weeks. Would love some feedback for this.
Controls:
WAS Movement
J: Jump
K: Attack
I: Slide
Up/Down Keys: Increase/Decrease Health
Enjoy, bros.
this looks totally rad, will try the engine soon! I look forward to this game being completed c:

Says fmodex.dll is missing, and it still doesn't work after installing that dll...
The exact error message is "The procedure entry point FMOD_DSP_GetSpeakerActive could not be located in the dynamic link library fmodex.dll."
Maybe I just downloaded a faulty DLL? I'll try again but it might just be helpful to package that .dll with the thing itself, just in case. It kind of gives you a nasty chain reaction of perpetual error messages that don't go away unless you force quit.
Please look into this, I wanna try it out and give real critique!
edit: oh hey we're totally rep bros

General advice on missing DLLs is not to just install said DLL but check where it comes from and install the whole thing.
In this case, it is part of the FMOD Ex programmers API and thus should be provided with the game so the DLL matches the version used by the game. I'm pretty sure that's how it is meant to be, especially as fmod doesn't provide said DLL by itself.

Yeah, sorry about that guys. I've fixed the link now, so you should be able to now kick some ass.
Oh, and extract the files into some folder as music will not work without it.
@Tellis We're rep bros now huh?
fuck yeah.
Love the demo! But when I run, the guy can't slide.
