Sonic Generations stuff

Yeah... found some Sonic Generations rips on my pc. I'm only doing the demo so dont expect to much. I'm not continuing this now. Maybe later. O well

Great rips! Just a couple of issues. The texture paths need to be fixed in the DAE, but that seems to be happen for every DAE recently. Another issue is actually a little odd, and I think it has to do with the latest version of the Generations tool or something. In the DAE, search for "scale". You'll be taken to a bit of data that says "<scale>36 36 36</scale>" (there's only one of these per file). Simply delete it from the file. I don't know why it's put in there, but all it does is make things awkward.

Also, they all seem to have an extra (and redundant) "images" folder with duplicates of the used textures. You can delete these, too, since the textures are all right there in the main directory.

By the way, how good are you with image editing/Photoshop? Some of the textures in there use special combinations of image channels for efficiency, but regular programs can't make use of them that way. (For example, the reflection map in the specular map's alpha channel.) If you're not, you can try asking Random Talking Bush for help. He knows what to do with these kinds of images.




Oh, and the links to the Giant ___ models are borked.

Did you ever get around to fixing these up, TGE? I'm really looking forward to getting more Sonic Generations enemies on the site.
