Yes but plug cables are also extendable and are easier to sprite.
Sir Z. also said he didn't like the look of the electric arms.
Also agreeing with you about recolormeme's blur.

Errrr.....not quite working out right yet. Im trying to get his arms to wave up and down, I think that it will take morethan two frames though....

The idea is that he is in a martial arts battle stance, I was basing it off of the traditional crane stance, but altered it a little. He technically shouldnt move at all, but a still single sprite would be lame, so I threw in some arm waving (or tried to Tongue)

@Omega: Going by your avatar and two sig. sprites, the mushroom on his head looks too large and overbearing to me.
Either that or his head (the white part) is too small and squished looking. I'm pretty sure it's more the latter. BTW welcome back! Where've you been?
@Ploaj: I hate to say this but I actually like Omega's better...
