Jetters have you actually played Sonic 2006?

When I liked the Sonic series I kept switching favorites like crazy. I think I went from Tails to Knuckles to Shadow to Espio to Sonic? I don't really like any of them anymore so I'll just say Sonic.

I think my favorite "character" might actually be the Chao as a whole. In fact raising Chao is probably the biggest reason I still play SA2B now and then.

I also like Omochao, just for the option of making him suffer in SA2.
I really didn't mind his presence, but throwing him over the edge is satisfying nontheless.

No I haven't played '06, but that has no influence on my love of Silver whatsoever.

He is just cool in several ways.

Sonic is a little more basic,

along with the whole
no time travel, look its Trunks, psychokinesis, everysonicrecolourever.jpg (for extra quality), white, navy, aqua, and gold boots with a ruby red gem because all the details nonsense.

They went to make a new character and replaced originality and creativity for a quick and easy solution.

I don't get why he's a hedgehog, either.

I really don't like Silver because of his cliche concept (the whole idea of coming from the future has never appealed to me), ugly design (namely the shoes and wristbands), and his voice and general presence really bugs me.
Moving on, however, my favorites would probably be:

1. Dr. Eggman (Yes, I know. I just really like the character, mainly the classic one, but modern's cool too B)) and EggRobo (If it counts?)
2. Rouge
3. Knuckles
4. Big the Cat (I love the design for the guy. Aside from vector, he's pretty much the only character that doesn't follow a design "template")
5. Tails

Honestly, aside from these top 5, I enjoy the levels and games as a whole over the characters, not sure why.

He's basically another shadow that isn't an anti-hero and he's from the future. Neither of those two concepts are original and he was really more or less another useless sonic friend.

Another sonic friend I hate is cream, her presence is just annoying more than anything else and she's basically Amy's answer to Sonic's Tails, and that wasn't needed anyways.

Don't have a specific favorite sonic character, to be honest.

Cream was also the most broken Sonic Advance series since she can probably sic her chao at bosses from a safe distance, which was easily spammable and that made her useful as a character when she first appeared.

SILVER however, is pothead the porcupine. I felt that his introduction was a bit weak and had no other plot significance than being an extra playable hedgehog and Sonic's answer to X's Axl as with Shadow being Sonic's answer to X's Zero, again. Don't get me STARTED on "Sonic the Hedgehog X4" on Sonic X's final seasons with the Materex and Seedrians and whatnot.

Sonic games have too many hedgehogs. Shadow at least has the excuse of SEGA wanting to market him as some kind of dark Sonic, and Amy is kind of passable for being a "love interest," but Silver? Uh...

Silver's ok its just the game he originated from sucks ass, so that definitely damaged his reputation. I don't mind him because he's a great boss battle in Sonic Generations.
